Investigating resilience from a community perspective is significant to understand how migrant populations cope with migration trauma, thereby enabling us to reduce its negative effects and promote adjustment in the host context. This scoping review aimed to evaluate psychological and social science literature concerning community resilience in migrant communities. We employed the PRISMA methodology to evaluate literature from different databases. A total of 782 articles were identified, with 17 meeting the inclusion criteria and the characteristics of these studies (type of migrants, design, purpose and main results) regarding community resilience are presented. The findings cover a variety of factors that might promote community resilience and thematic analysis generated five themes: economic aspects, community competence, information, social capital and beliefs and attitudes. Based on our findings, suggestions for researchers are discussed and the importance of the host context in promoting migrant community resilience is highlighted
