This work identifies the agreement between States, aimed at establishing a legal framework for outer space, as the necessary solution to prevent it from falling under the control of a few, based solely on economic power. The proposal therefore represents a compromise between recognizing space as common heritage of mankind and individual freedoms, with a view to safeguarding the space environment.
