Over the last few years, there has been increased interest in compilingpoverty indicators for children, as well as in providing uncertainty measures associatedwith point estimates. In this paper, we provide child point and bootstrappedrelative standard error estimates for the At-risk-of-poverty Rate and Gini coefficientfor Mediterranean countries. Using the 2018 EU-SILC survey, our results show thatfor these categories, poverty tends to be higher when compared to the national estimatesfor most of the analysed countries.

Abstract
Over the last few years, there has been increased interest in compilingpoverty indicators for children, as well as in providing uncertainty measures associatedwith point estimates. In this paper, we provide child point and bootstrappedrelative standard error estimates for the At-risk-of-poverty Rate and Gini coefficientfor Mediterranean countries. Using the 2018 EU-SILC survey, our results show thatfor these categories, poverty tends to be higher when compared to the national estimatesfor most of the analysed countries.File in questo prodotto:
