In his speech at the webinar's concluding round table, Daniele Maria Pegorari took up a conceptual knot dear to him - that of literary historiography as ‘glance’ and ‘testimony’ - arguing that research in the direction of women's writing makes an irreplaceable contribution to widening the space of vision and questioning inaccurate or incomplete ‘narrative’ models. Drawing conclusions from the conference and dialoguing with Sonia Gentili, Elisa Donzelli and Sebastiano Valerio in particular, the speaker pointed out three relevant themes: the contribution of women authors to more radically experimental research; the persistence of a Petrarchan paradigm, more detectable than in the male sphere; the need to strengthen the study of the southern area of the country. This last suggestion, on the other hand, is in line with the intention of constituting an ‘anti-canon’ of the twentieth century, complementary to the one hitherto vulgarized and necessary for a more correct description of the literary dynamics of the last century.

Abstract
This last suggestion, on the other hand, is in line with the intention of constituting an ‘anti-canon’ of the twentieth century, complementary to the one hitherto vulgarized and necessary for a more correct description of the literary dynamics of the last century.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
