In this chapter, the concept of perezhivanie is discussed to consider the relationship between the individual and the environment - and the experience or attitude towards this relationship - within the field of teacher education. The use of collective methodologies for the analysis of situations of professional development related to the experience of perezhivanie is proposed. More particularly, some insights are presented to highlight the relevance of affectivity as pedagogy in exploring perezhivanie in teacher education and to discuss the implications for the processes of professional development within a sociocultural approach..
