Oltre i confini della stigmatizzazione: Franca Caffa e l’attivismo collettivo nei quartieri popolari

This chapter explores the activism of Franca Caffa, a prominent figure in the fight against territorial stigmatization and social exclusion in public housing neighborhoods. Through an indepth ethnographic lens, the chapter examines her role in empowering communities, fostering collective identity, and addressing systemic inequalities in marginalized urban areas. By analyzing the intersection of gender, community, and resistance, the study highlights how Caffa’s grassroots initiatives have challenged structural discrimination and contributed to the reimagining of stigmatized spaces as sites of resilience and agency.
