The aim of this study is to reveal the communicative power of TED talks and assess their role in the dissemination of knowledge. Considering that the power of language is that of reflecting our cultural and physical reality, this paper explores the extent to which TED discourse has established its relevance as a new form of reality with its 'ideas worth spreading' and thus a new paradigm of popularisation.
