This book is devoted to the review of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human rights in the sphere of protection of labour and social security rights focusing on the key legal positions of the Court. In the course of the research much attention is paid to the determination of the status of the legal positions of the ECtHR in the Russian legal system. The author argues the possibility of direct application of the legal positions of the Court in the Russian legal practice and their potential value for the development of relevant legislation and decision making. The research also affirms the principled possibility of appeal to the European court for the protection of labour and social security rights and reveals the premises of successful complaint.

Abstract
