Risk and sustainability in terms of the future of humankind and of the planet have become popular topics among scholars in the last decades. The aim of the paper is to explore if, in young people, there is a correspondence between the vision of the world and the perception of the future, comparing the attitudes of a sample of young people in 2003 with the results of a previous similar research carried out in 1983.
